Responding to a need.

Investing in West Horndon for the benefit of all.

This website is the start of sharing our vision for West Horndon. Providing everyone with an early opportunity to have their say and to help shape the vision.

E&A Strategic Land place great emphasis on building and maintaining strong and successful relationships with local authorities and the existing community. We are committed to working within the Local Plan process, in order to help develop a sound Plan that caters for both Thurrock Brentwood’s housing needs.

Brentwood Borough Council and Thurrock Borough Council are both indepdently developing their Local Plans each at different stages. Both Councils will be undertaking consultations where you can view the relevant documentation and provide comment. We will update this website when a consultation is being undertaken.

E&A Strategic Land, part of the Estates & Agency Group, is an experienced high-quality strategic land promoter, with a focus on developing in areas that enhance and complement the local amenity.

Being privately owned and financed means that our obligation is to the local community, and not an external investor. We believe that investment in good masterplanning principles can add value for future residents and the wider existing community.

E&A Strategic Land is a long-term investor; they are committed to investing in communities.

We would love to hear your views on the opportunity at West Horndon.

Across South Essex local authorities are developing Local Plans to provide for new homes, employment space and infrastructure such as new schools, medical services and transport improvements. The consequences of not getting the Plan right are significant. Both Brentwood and Thurrock recognise the benefits and opportunities that a larger-scale development can bring, with the ability to deliver the much-needed infrastructure investment that is vital to support both new and existing residents.

We are interested to hear your views on how Thurrock and Brentwood should deliver their growth needs.
